The Children and Family Centre is on the edge of the Rose Street school site. It houses a variety of services for parents/carers of children from 0-5 including a neighbourhood nursery, a drop-in centre, Gingerbread meetings and a family food bank.

Secondary School Information

To all our Year 6 parents/carers, we would like to inform you that you will receive your child’s offer place from KCC as from Wednesday 1 March 2017, either by email or by post.

You will also receive an Acceptance/Refusal Form which you should return to the offered school by Thursday 16 March 2017.

If you want your child’s name put on the Waiting List for any  other school you applied for, you must return the form to KCC by Thursday 16 March 2017 to the address given on the form.

You have the right to appeal to an Independent Appeal Panel against the refusal of a place at any of the schools you listed on your application form.  To do this, you should lodge your appeal with the admission authority for that school by Wednesday 29 March 2017.  You can get an appeal form from their website, http://www.kent.gov.uk/secondaryadmissions.  You will be able to attend the Appeal Hearing in person.
