Next Week – W/C 17/10/16

English

In English next week we will be continuing with our instructional writing, in which we will be writing instructions on how to make Viking oatcakes. We will also be writing a recount of our trip to Minster Abbey and an evaluation of our cooking.

Maths

In Maths next week we will be continuing to add unlike fractions, as well as a problem solving lesson to finish the term.

Topic

Our Topic next week will be inspired by our visit to Minster Abbey on Tuesday 18th October, where the children will be shown round this island landmark and learn more about the Vikings.

Design and Technology

Science will be replaced by DT next week, as we will be making our Viking oatcakes fit for any Viking banquet.
