• African Drumming Workshop

  On Monday we had some very exciting visitors at Rose Street Nursery. Mango tree Kids are a company that offers African Drumming Workshops. This wonderful programme allows children of all abilities especially children with special needs to express themselves creatively through drumming, building their confidence and emotional well-being. Children are taught the real art of African drumming through the use of a Call and Response technique. We believe fun and laughter must be a core element of every session. All of the Nursery children did amazing listening and followed all of the instructions given to them. Well done Duckling class �

  

• Year 1 Life Skills

  As part of our Life Skills curriculum, Year 1 learnt about table
  manners, how to use our knife and fork and how to make our
  beds. We had lots of fun learning these new skills and are looking
  forward to trying them at home!
